Laid back atmosphere, wonderful & friendly staff, great drinks & specials, and delicious food. 2 thumbs up for The Social!
I have been going to the social for about 7 years. I love being recognized by the staff and the fact that they know what I want. We never have to wait for a table. Wing night is especially fun and we take part in the wing specials. There is live music almost every day of the week. They have outdoor seating as well. The prices are good and the food is always yummy. The bartenders know what they are doing and it is my favorite place to go for a bloody mary. They have a wing night special on Tuesday night switch their wings are some of the best in Asheville. Every week night they have specials. Sometimes we order their nachos which are huge and definitely built for two to three people.
One of the greatest local bar/restaurant places around!! Get a group of friends together and stop by for a great time!! The beer, food and atmosphere is awesome!
The food was really good and so were the prices. I had the cheese steak with beer cheese and stole some of my sons jalapenos from his quesadilla. My wife said the pimento cheeseburger was really good too. The only downfall was the lack of a physical kid menu. There were a few kids there so that really does not make sense.
The food here is slightly above average for the price. It is an eclectic burger joint that serves specialty burgers. It was cooked properly and tasted well enough. I was happy to sit outside, but the atmosphere inside reminded me of the outdated biker bars you'd find up north. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go back if I wanted something within a walking distance from my residence.
