Loved the atmosphere in this restaurant. The food was great! Our waitresses went above and beyond. A little upset I could mot buy 2 Y shirts for 2 of my favorite people. Will be back to enjoy the southern cooking. Being from the south makes appreciate it so much more. Thanks for everything!
80 DEHEC FOOD SCORE.... Ok we ordered the all you can eat ribs. We got three ribs each to start and wouldn't get anymore until we were finished. When we were finished it took another 20 min to get the next 3 ribs. I was done not out of hunger but tired of waiting so long for my next set of ribs.

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is terrible awful, our first time experience was our last! Ribs inedible. Calabash shrimp extremely under cooked. It took over 30 min. to get our food and nothing was hot! My fries were hard and cold, my husbands were soggy and cold. And of course the waitress didn't even ask if everything was good, I think she knew by the look of disgust on our faces, and by the amount of untouched food on the plates. What a waste! Nasty!
Used to be our go to place to impress visitors to Asheville. But after today's extra expensive COLD Thanksgiving lunch , Fatz is officially off our list for visitors and ourselves. One star is one more than I would have rated if allowed. I have been a supporter of this chain for more than a decade - I truly wish they remembered what they were like a decade ago!
We arrived for lunch/dinner on a Sunday and the wait was about 30min and our food took a long time to get our table. But the manager brought the food to our table, apologetic & gave the meal to us for free. We had not really mentioned anything about the wait so this was the manager's own choice. I thought this was very professional.
Don't waste your time like I wasted my holiday that I had looked forward to for weeks! We ended up going somewhere else to enjoy the holiday because the Fatz experience was SO bad. Fatz used to be our Thanksgiving tradition - but not any more.
