I wasn't going to leave a review because even though they messed up every order at the table the manager ended up making it right. However, the save was ruined by the deadpan manner of the cashier when I payed the bill. I think she managed a couple of grunts at best. The table service was mediocre. The Sunday fried chicken was excellent. My wife commented that she's had better tasting burgers at Wendy's. The patties looked about as thin as the flaps on a cardboard box. I won't visit this location again.
Food is very good as usual. Great selection of vegetables that are hard to find in most restaurants. Long wait to pay much longer than wait to be seated which I found odd.
Very clean quick and friendly southern hospitality. "country fixins'" would be the phrase. Chicken n dumplings closest to what you would find at home out of anywhere else I've been. Biscuit and cornbread are amazing. Year round themed general store and tons of rocking chairs line the front porch. They bring the farm to you.
Great staff, great food. We were passing through, on is way to Charlotte and we got a great lunch there. It seems very popular, also.
Slammin' busy, but the wait was only 10min. Breakfast was great, as usual at any Cracker Barrel. Portions have gotten smaller, but that's a good thing. There was always too much food, especially for breakfast. Our waitress, Laurie, was on point and kept the coffee full!
