I feel this was extremely poor customer service. They could have responded that their records were not up to date and that they could contact me. But to flat out label my family as bad pet owners was very reckless and very hurtful. I will not longer be using Pet vet for my pets needs. I hope to find a vet that will understand that my pets are cared for and can exercise better customer care.
All I can offer at this point; my grand pup is ill and I have no understanding of what is the illness as my daughter is a mess and cannot communicate the situation..so, I called the vet, Dr. King; spoke to Ruth and she took message and times for Dr King to call, at 4:30, still NO returned call. Called again, spoke to Ruth again...As of 10:00 tonight, no returned call. My daughter is still distraught and I have no understanding of what is the problem except King prescribed a diuretic (according to my daughter). Such poor customer service!
This Vets office is very affordable and so understanding of our pets! We could not ask for better care and customer service.
Vet care is good. Dog day care is inadequate. They don’t seem to limit the amount of dogs. I picked up my dog today and she was a nervous wreck. The dogs look unhappy outside. She usually enjoys day care and I had hoped this would be a good place because it is conveniently located to me. I will be finding a new vet.
As someone who worked for them I can tell you that they are not the worst but they are not the best. Internal medicine is pretty standard the surgical site is Run by One technician only who calls all the shots basically and is not that brilliant. I have seen coners cut for cleanliness and a much less sterile environment for surgery then I would have liked to have seen.
One would hope their pet care is better than their customer care. I have been a customer here for several years. I used them for any illness or urgent care for my animals. I did not perform my shots here though as I used local shot clinics as they happened in our community each year. I recently was trying to adopt a kitten, and I referenced Pet Vet as my veterinarian. The adoption agency called, and because I did not perform my shots here, they actually told the agency "don't do it".
