Avoid this place like the plague. It is impersonal and a. money factory. They are definitely NOT OWNER FRIENDLY. They do not care about you the owner or your concerns. If you desire a close relationship with your vet— one of trust and mutual respect, this is not the place for you or your pet. STAY AWAY. It’s just another big business takIng advantage of ordinaray people.

I have used Banfield Pet Hospitals in other cities and this one in Asheville is by far the best I have been to. I drive an extra hour (one way) to take my dog to this clinic because they are very understanding and easy to work with. They don’t treat your pet as number like some of the other Banfield Hospitals do. I would recommend the Asheville location to anyone!

If you love your pets please go somewhere else.

the one star is for a couple of good workers. It's all about money. I bought the puppy plan and it really is not a deal at all. Had to drop my dog off for a "drop off" because there was no times available. When I went to pick him up he barely made it out the door to pee on the sidewalk. Also he pooped on the parking lot. I get they aren't busy, but if you don't have time to let the pets go out than they don't need to do a drop off. i could go on and on about how bad this place is.

I am very unhappy with my experience with Banfield and will never go there again. They get you to sign up for a plan, with automatic payment, then automatically renew it without telling you, then repeatedly called me to bring my pet in for a checkup, which I did, and they put my dog under anesthesia to check his teeth, and while he was under anesthesia, called me to say it was going to cost $1000 to pull his teeth, and I had no warning that that might happen, or time to consider, because they didn't tell me anything until he was already there, under anesthesia. Then, when I tried to cancel the plan that they had automatically enrolled me in, I would have had to pay $360 to cancel, because he had used the service.

They said this was all explained in the paperwork I signed over a year ago, when I first enrolled him, but no warning or explanation at the actual time it all happened. Why not at least tell you that you will be automatically renewed at the time that it comes up, instead of automatically billing you, then calling to get you to bring him in, which then makes it impossible to cancel. That seems pretty underhanded to me.

Dr. Kedo is the best. She is super caring, and really takes the time to speak and advise. I always thought my dog was a picky eater and thanks to her I realize that certain foods were irritating his stomach. Finally found a dog food after 9 years that he continues to eat. Grateful that she took the time to help me get to the bottom of this. On a side note, love earth born holistic dog food.
