Unfortunately I have to move back to TN in a couple weeks. I soooo wish we could keep this vet...but when we come in town, if Tootsie needs care, I'll be taking her here.

I tried a different vet and their communication about the expensive tests (and medicine) Tootsie needed was awful. I would pay $230+ getting her levels checked and nobody would return my calls for a week. Even if I called them everyday!
Dr. Valeika is WONDERFUL!! He's called me personally several times to discuss Tootsie's care and her medicines. He got her on a better dose, and even worked with a local compounding pharmacy to get her dose special-made, and keep the costs as low as possible.
They've been outstanding and very understanding of how much I love my Dachshund. Also, Dr. Valeika has saved me tons of money in future tests for Tootsie's Cushing's Disease, because his suggestion of dosing twice per day vs. once per day did the trick. Thank you Dr. Valeika!
