Very friendly staff from check in to check out. Dr. Goodwin is awesome! I might even say she is the best doctor I've ever had!!
I would highly recommend Asheville Women's Medical Center! I have been going there for 10 years and have always had wonderful experiences whether it's a regular check-up or birth of one of my children! I never feel like I'm being rushed and have never experienced an excessive wait time. My questions/concerns are always addressed, and I have the utmost confidence in this practice's medical professionals. I would recommend this practice to friends and family without hesitation!
I've been going to Asheville Women's since I was in my early 20's. I'm now 38 and about to deliver my first child and have had nothing but pleasant experiences all around. Everyone from the nurses to the ultrasound tech's to the lab to the front office staff are always friendly and professional... and Dr. Simmons is amazing! I highly recommend this practice!
I have been so pleased with Asheville Women's! All of the doctor's were incredible while I was pregnant with my daughter. Dr. Hawes is my primary physician and also delivered my daughter. He is fantastic and our birth experience was wonderful. I can't recommend this practice enough!
I am really upset at how some of the things that have transpired there because medically the doctors are wonderful.
Oh, and FYI they do not accept Medicaid (the doctors have to approve you if they want to take you in as a patient with Medicaid as medical coverage)
Several things. #1 be prepared to wait....for a pretty long time. They are always behind. Always! #2 Seems like there is always a staffing turn over which isn’t a good sign if employees are always coming and going. #3 God forbid you get in a financial bind and cannot pay your bill on time. If you are past due on your balance you have to speak to their insurance/biller FIRST to figure out a payment plan before you can even proceed with your message/medical question or even schedule an appointment with your doctor. I don’t know how this seems legal because to me that’s denying patient care when you are still a patient at the practice.
