My family has always had exellent service and care with AHNE. The doctors we've seen have always been caring and professional, and they have been most attentive to both of my children, ages 5 and 2. Dr. Currens is a wonderful practioner who has seen us through two minor surgeries. He is always willing to answer my questions with patience and professionalism. Likewise, Dr. Rheney was extremely helpful when I needed a minor surgery. Once, when I got my child's appointment time mixed up, they kindly worked us back in even though I think their schedule was full.
I had a good experience with AHNE. I was referred to this office by my PC. I had a ruptured eardrum. I have a complex history with my ears. At the initial visit I had a hearing and pressure test, then saw Dr Lane. He took time to look in both ears and evaluate my situation. He discussed, in detail, a treatment plan. I had a follow-up appointment 3 months later. Again I had the hearing and pressure tests done. I met with Dr Lane. Instead of pushing me into a surgical procedure, he discussed a new procedure that would be available in a few months. Dr Lane took great lengths to describe the surgery and let me decide what I thought would be beneficial for me. What I greatly appreciated was he was not all ready to just patch the rupture and hope for the best. He discussed the pros and cons. He took into account that if he did patch the hole without fixing the initial problem first, the likelihood of a repeat rupture or complete loss of the eardrum was possible. So all in all Dr Lane didn't advocate for surgery to line his pockets due to possibly needing multiple surgeries.
Got an appointment very quickly with my referral, was there about an hour and a half total which i think is pretty good for a first appointment. Dr. Melvin was awesome as well as the front desk ladies and nurses. I had a great experience here. Dr Melvin put my mind as ease. Highly recommended!
I came in with a trouble spot in my throat. They scoped it, and the doctor did a great job explaining the issue and what to look for in the future. He didn't coddle me, he remained professional, which is what you want in a doctor.
I would recommend Dr. Seal to anyone! He's a talented professional who delivered fantastic results and a short/easy recovery time from my surgery. People say he's the best, because he is!
