I have had only top notch service, I am a patient of Dr Schoof.
Dr Schoof is my new physician (no disrespect to others) she is the best GP for my Primary Care in 57 years, I am really glad to be her patient. My wife sees Dr Snoddy, he is a legend in our family. I have personal experience with all the doctors currently at AFM. This is truly a great practice and has been for the last 30 years. If you want the best Primary Care, this is where you go.
They have a nice new renovated facility and I really liked Dr. Magnatta and the staff. I have quite a bit going on with kidney failure and digestive issues but he was able to help with stuff the specialists don't deal with. As with most doctor offices there is sometimes a bit of a wait.
(3) I requested changing to another doctor in the practice, whom my husband sees. This required special permission by both doctors.
(2) When I am able to make an appointment, wait times are excessive.
I have called AFM and left several messages for Dr. Magnatta this week. No one has returned my calls. I have anxiety disorder and Insomnia. I have asked so many times for help with my lack of sleep I stopped counting. IDK how to feel about it... I am tired of asking for the same thing over and over. Help please!##
(1) It is exceedingly difficult to make an appointment.
The third item was the final straw. I do NOT need special permission to leave the practice -- which is exactly what I have done. I have now found a doctor who is more accessible, at an office that allows me to see any doctor in the practice if I need to do so.
Dr. Schoof is competent and has strong interpersonal skills. However, I have chosen to leave this practice for three reasons:
