Rooms were pleasantly nice for the price point. There had definitely been attempts to modernize the decor. The staff were friendly, not super helpful, but friendly. The location was ideal for our needs. It was a hop skip and a jump away from the biltmore and had the golden arches across the street for coffee in the morning which was sadly not provided by the Asheville inn. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay.
For $65 one day and night two queen bed room, terrific accommodation! Interior finishes were surprisingly modern and thoughtful. We just couldn't believe the modern interior appearance with the daily rate. I recommend this to anyone on a budget with some design taste and sensitivity. Indeed you get what you pay for but with some additional contemporary features and comforts. Enjoy your stay!
It was nicely remodeled hotel. Comfy bed and clean. Felt my car was safe in the lot. And they are dog friendly. Would stay again.
Don't be fooled by the photoshopped pictures posted online, they're VERY edited photos. Its what attracted me and my girlfriend to the place in the first place, don't do what we did. For $120 a night i would of rather have slept in my car. The office front door was kind of like going into a jail, you have to be wait for them to unlock it after you ring a bell. The guy up front seemed really tired and it looked as if we woke him up from sleeping. Our room was put together, how can i say this, it was put together as if i had just woken a guy up from sleeping by ringing the door bell. It was half way finished with only two lights working inside of it. Shower curtain- dirty, top bed sheet- dirty, mattress sheet- MISSING, pillow cases- dirty, room- stanky. To top everything off, we were leaving after salvaging our room for a night, I noticed some form of loose drug on the ground inside of our hotel room and a modified safety pin right outside of our door that looks like it was used to try and get inside while we slept. Just please for the love of god, don't stay here, it will haunt your dreams for a while after.
We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this inn. The hotel has a very unique look and so do the rooms. The rooms were very stylish and aesthetically pleasing. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. We didn't interact much with the hotel staff, except for checking in, because we only stayed one night. However, I'm definitely looking for a reason to return.
