From the stained hallway leading to our room, to the dirty walls in the bathroom this hotel is gross. I've stayed at Rodeways before and they were perfectly fine. This one needs a co.plete overhaul before its acceptable.
An Aromatic experience:
bed and a place to shower all you need and this place is great , cheap for one night. We got our room quick , front desk was pleasant.
2 star because we had hot water. Close to $100 bucks and we were welcomed with a foul smell in the room complained at the reception and remedy or an alternative room provided. Guess all rooms must be same. Can smell the drainage when I flushed the toilet. The walkway is the dirtiest I have seen in an Motel. Not a penny worth what we paid for..
It was a great place. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean and cozy. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this Inn. The only thing that was a little far out was the price $122 for a Friday night. The price throughout the week days is cheaper, but also with it being fall Asheville did get a lot of visitors, oh and the beds where uncomfortable. Not to the point of I couldn't sleep. I slept fine. Just they seemed like really old and very used mattresses. I got a room with 2 double beds and they both where that way. I ended up having to get a smoking room. I didn't smell as much of a cigarette smoke smell. It was more a 420 smell. It didn't bother me at all throughout my stay.
This was a great economical bargain while on the road. The parking lot and the office lobby are small, but don't let that put you off.
The beds were very comfortable, covered in snowy white linen. Everything in our room worked; especially thankful for a working air conditioner, a big flat screen TV, a good little refrigerator and microwave. The rooms open to an interior hallway.
This is an older motel with no elevator. However, it was clean and safe, and the staff were exceedingly polite. That means a lot when I am hot and tired from a long day's drive. It was not fancy or new, but it fit all of our needs at a great price.
Cons...room had a not so pleasant smell.
