Changed to ADT for my home sometime back. Recently contacted by Savannah Price about adding service to my business. She was very professional and answered all my questions. Will be adding service for that reason, very satisfied with your company and how it has met our needs. Thanks Again.
ADT is a major waste of money and effort. I absent-mindedly set the alarm before going to work and people working on my house set it off. I was in a meeting and did not receive their call. They went about their business with the alarm going off and nothing happened for more than 35 minutes. An officer finally pulled up and, without getting out of the car, asked the workers if everything was OK and drove off. I didn't hear from ADT at all! Another complaint is that the installation was done in half-assed manner and the most easily accessible windows don't have alarms on them. I have not bothered to use the system since the alarm went off and nothing happened--4 months ago. This is a scam. ADT installs an incomplete system and does nothing to follow up. Anytime I've tried to reach a human, I have a minimum of a half hour hold time. I asked to get out of my contract due to the product not keeping me or my home safe in any way and was told that I would need to pay 75% of the remaining contract which is $500. Save yourself money and frustration. Do not use ADT. If you want to feel safer, use a different company.

When I called to report this, I was told that that's on my police department and that ADT has nothing to do with it. I've asked to get out of my contract and was reminded that I have to pay 75% of the duration, over $500! I get that they do not stand by their product and are only concerned about money.
You must pay each time a tech comes out to fix a problem - even if it is the same problem and the issue is not resolved. Tried to contact and work with the local agent, but corporate will not share this contact information. Terrible customer service. Can't wait until my contract is fulfilled so I can move on to a better security company.
Outright lied about transferring the contract when we moved. They don't care about their customers at all. Horrible customer service and deceptive business practices.
