This store is so disorganized and needs cleaned. Did find what I wanted. Not sure if I will go back til after holidays are over. Just to messy.
What has happened to the Hamricks store in Asheville? It's no longer a clothing store. You can't go in and find what you need without weeding through items that really need to be in Wal-Mart or KMart. I use to be able to go in and know where to find my favorite styles. Now kids and toys are in the middle of Missy and Women's. Their organization needs help or they need to expand into the vacant building beside them. Haven't been happy with the last few visits I have made. Instead of being called Hamricks Clothing it should be called H-Mart.
I have always enjoyed shopping at Hamrick's, their prices are good, and they have such a good variety of products. I'm a senior so I like to shop Hamrick's on Tuesday when you can get a 10% senior discount on many products. I wanted to pick up a couple of battery operated lanterns, in case of power outages. I have kerosene lanterns, but I don't like the fumes that they emit, same with candles, plus they're a fire hazard. I was able to find 2 adorable lanterns for only $5.00 each. My husband tried them out when we got home, he was concerned that because of their smallish size they wouldn't be bright enough. We were very surprised at the amount of light they gave, it was perfect. They're so stinkin cute we decided to pick up a couple more, even though we really only need two, why not for just $5.00 each. I may even pick up a couple for each of our adult, married son's. We can use them outside on spring, summer, and autumn evenings. They have a handle so they can easily be carried from room to room or hung without fear of fire or a child touching them. I also purchase clothing, shoes, and numerous other items from Hamrick's, I'm so glad we have one close by.
The store was a little bit hard to navigate mainly trying to locate the correct size but there was a lady named Jane in the men's department that was an excellent employee very patient and helpful seemed like very good quality products there
