Had a terrible experience with this Hertz location. This is an independent franchise, they are not corporate owned and seem to make up their own rules. I rent 30 - 40 cars/year from Hertz.
TERRIBLE Customer Service! My car was getting repaired and my warranty company has a direct billing agreement with HERTZ. What I did not know was that this location is an independent licensee. I gave the contact info and account number to the manager, who told me she would take care of it and would call me if there was a problem. I received no phone call or message. When I returned the rental, my bill was over $1000 because she could not direct bill the warranty company, and there were late charges. No one ever contacted me about the billing issue or when the car was to be returned. The manager said she has been trying to call but the number I gave her was bad...funny, because she had left messages and a text before. When I asked for a number for her supervisor, she refused to give it to me.
We reserved a Chevy Spark for a long drive and arrived 30min early to pick it up. Instead, they rented the Spark to the woman in line ahead of us and gave us a Ford F-150. No gas credit, no apology, no economy car alternate. This is unacceptable behavior from a company! We made our reservation 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE! We reserved an economy car, not a gas hog. Disgusting. I'm going back to Enterprise.
