While this place is pricey.... They have a huge selection of shoes and a good staff that can help you find what you are looking for. Customer service is great!
Staff is very rude/unfriendly/excessively grumpy, but you can find really good deals on occasion. You'll probably leave wondering how folks get that miserable and glad you don't work there. I got a pair of Born leather knee high boots for $49 a few years back and that purchase keeps me coming back. The key is to check in at least once a season and be prepared to leave empty handed. Plus, they carry higher end brands and you can at least try on to see fit and order on line. Over all I'm not thrilled to give them my money, local or not. They have never once made me feel like they appreciate it, but it's convenient for me and I have a fairly thick skin. Edit: my husband says nice things about the employees in the men's department, so maybe it's just the ladies at the front desk.
Love this place! Always a lot to choose from. I'm sure if I were to shop the Clearance section I'd find the discount but there was no discount at DISCOUNT Shoes. I paid 110.00 on a pair of Timberland boots that were replacing a pair I had from the late 90s.
Great selection. I didn't think the regular shoe prices were all that great, but their buy one get one section is a great deal if you can find shoes you like. They also have a good selection of socks. It would be nice if they took AMEX.
"Discount" is in name only, so please don't let the name fool you. They do have a great selection. Also, staff are ok at pointing you in the right direction but other than that, you are on your own.
