This is the venue downtown everyone has been waiting for. Inside area's can get cramped, BUT WHO CARES YOU HAVE 3 FLIPPING FLOORS WHATTTTTTT!!!!, plus being able to walk outside, or even see your artist outside is a huge plus. The staff is friendly caring and environmentally conscientious, overall an awesome place to see the "younger side" of Asheville
Venue layout is cool. There is parking if you're arriving earlier.
Great place. Nothing like a reason for a trip to Ashville for live music.
Purchased tickets to a concert back in June. Concert was rescheduled and then cancelled August 21st. Email stated refunds would be issued the following week. I sent two emails asking about the refund. On September 21st, I sent an email stating that I was going to file a case with small claims. Received an email the same day from Eventbrite and new mountain stating my refund had been processed. Here we are three weeks later with no refund. I file suit in the morning.
Had an absolute TERRIBLE time at this venue for the blunts&blondes mile high tour! For starters your security needs a reality check... they aren’t police! They should be trained on how to PROPERLY DEAL with situations instead of trying to act like cops!! I was taken out by one of your security staff an literally fractured my ankle because of them trying to get control of a fight by taking it from one end of the showroom to the other while taking out plenty more people other than myself which SHOULD NOT have happened in this case at all! I’ve been to the orange peel MANY times when there has been a fight an it was controlled at the scene not taken any further an the people was taken out properly not taken out like they’ve started a riot or something! Another thing, if you’re gonna have an EDM head bangers DJ then properly prepare yourself because guess what... THERE WILL BE HEAD BANGERS an people will want to be on the rail head banging enjoying themselves! If you didn’t want people on it then you should have put a sign up sign stating to not be on it... not have your so called security staff standing up there holding it or have it held together by a string!! This place was just not prepared for this show at all! Don’t book DJs like blunts&blondes if you aren’t prepared for the head bangers he brings...
They need to hire a sound engineer or get new speakers. Levels sounded awful, made nice music sound like mush.
