Pack Square Park is a really nice big park to walk thru, sit a spell, set up your Easel. There is usually plenty going on there. Art shows, deminstrations, Fairs. In the Summer time thefe are disapearing Sprinklers that the children can go thru to cool off you will hesr plenty of Childrens laughter as the sprays go off and on unexpectedly. Some parents n Grandparents have been known to cool off too on a hot day.
Went to the Asheville October fest in pack square park. Lots of beer and fun . For one price you get a small mug and you can try all the beer you want . Lots of breweries to choose from . Like all the events at the park there will be the food trucks. No parking around we took a uber .
The rest rooms here, they are always clean, and kept nice. The maintenance people check the restrooms clean and toilet paper in each of the restrooms. I'm thankful that they maintain the restrooms well.
Nice park in heart of downtown Asheville, with a small stage and restroom building. Close walking distance to many shops, restaurants, offices, and the YMCA. There are parking sports on the nearby streets and also a large covered garage right across from the park, with decent hourly and special event rates.
The place to be in Asheville! Tons of events and the best part of the skyline! Also the parking garage for the court house is a great place to take pictures. So I would recommend that all tourists go to pack square park
