Cute little park with pretty trees and weird little rolling hills next to the river. Pretty decent dog play area, sometimes people just play on their phones and don't watch their dogs but that's hardly the parks fault
This is better than I expected when looking at google maps, which led me to believe the view across the river would be of train tracks and industrial buildings. There is a nice path/ dirt and gravel road that follows the river directly to the New Belgium Brewery. It is about a mile and a half one way, and is not overly used. My only sorrow was seeing three “ campsites” along the river where homeless folks are clearly living, and as a result, littering their spots terribly. Sad, in this day and age, that people must resort to such dire choices as to be forced to live in a tent. What does this tell us about our society? Sad...very, very sad. Still, a nice place to walk.
Love this place! It was renovated in 2014, I think. It's got so much to offer, bark park, walking trails, water access, picnic areas, kid playground. The only thing there isn't enough of is parking, especially on sunny days, so get there early
Perfect place to take a walk along the river , either by yourself or with your dogs. Good place for the kids to play. Very good place to take in some nature views and sounds.
I play footbag (hackysack) at this park every Saturday morning. It's always great to see people picnicking and walking their dogs.
