SPECIAL shout-out to my main stylist Jessie Smark who usually does my color. She's helped me to get to platinum blonde while keeping my hair healthy and shiny. She's also really incredible at designing "fashion shades" for me (I've been several shades of pink, blue, and purple over the past year) that last a long time and look nice. She's also been helping me to grow my hair out from a pixie cut and she's given me a few awesome cuts that actually look good between hair cut services.
What a joke the prices of this place are insane and hardly upscale..went to get hair and makeup done for a wedding my hair was NOTHING like the pic I showed and my 7 year old daughter could have done my makeup better. The girl seemed annoyed to be there as well don’t go here unless you wanna pay people to be rude and give you the worst updo you could possibly imagine
Seriously this place is so amazing! Every stylist is incredibly talented, it's like having a little slice of NYC in Asheville without the hustle and bustle. They have always taken their time to listen to what I want to have done to my hair and make sure to deliver what I was expecting at every appointment. I can tend to be on the pickier side, so having the stylists go the extra mile to make my *hair dreams* come true means a lot to me. Not to mention that the whole staff is super friendly as well as educated. I'm always greeted with a smile and a warm welcoming. My only gripe would be that parking can be hard to find sometimes, but the complimentary parking garage next door usually makes up for it. LOVE this salon.

The atmosphere is relaxed and fun but also chic. EVERY member of staff is incredibly welcoming and nice and I leave with so many compliments trailing after me after each visit.

WOW! I really can't say enough about how much I love coming to Wink. I've been a client at Wink for almost a year and a half now. I've seen several different stylists for both hair cuts and coloring services because I have a bad habit of being a last-minute appointment client. They're wonderful at accommodating their clients in that way.
Nice salon and my stylist was very sweet, however I specifically stressed that I only wanted the length of my hair barely snipped at the ends. She cut off 2 1/2 inches. At least that's the amount she admitted to. I feel she probably cut a good 3 inches off, at least. It didn't even need that much cut, and if it did she should have discussed it w/ me first. I would have said thanks, but no thanks, to the "2 1/2" inch cut. Also wish they had more of the special Deva dryers. I sat under two different dryers, but never the Deva. Then she just used a regular hair dryer w/ a diffuser to finish me off, which I wasn't crazy about because as a curly girl I really prefer to air dry.
