Everyone from pt to front desk to
And push me while being aware of healing.
At this point in time I went to Asheville ortho, who immediately when I described the pain and the event that had caused it said "oh you may have a torn meniscus but it is far more likely that you have a micro-fracture and that you will need surgery."
Please note this review is about SESM Physical Therapy only. I've had a lot of PT and the results from Southeastern have been the best by far. Their approach is very hands-on and focuses on building overall strength and flexibility. Whenever I need PT I call them first.
These people are amazing. They saved my life. Spend a lot of time and are so caring. Their encouragement and use of many types of treatments has helped me heal.
Finally when someone came in to see me they did a short examination and told me that my knee was just swollen and that it would come down within a couple of week. Possibility that I had torn my meniscus. He asked if I wanted a shot of cortisone which I declined and then he prescribed me a ibuprofen. He also told me that it would be getting a little bit worse before getting better.
My wife thought Dr. Jones and his medical staff were great. Unfortunately the friendly scheduler provided erroneous information to specific questions, which ended up costing us substantially more for a routine 15-minute procedure.
I went in for an appointment because my knee was bothering me after an accident. I sat in a waiting room for over 30 minutes beyond my appointment time and when I was taken back to my room I again waited for about an hour before anyone came to see me. During this time period it was clear that outside of my door there was plenty of socializing going on between the employees as they were loud and chatting about all things not related to patients.
A couple of months went by and the pain continued to get worse and I assumed that it was worst case and that my meniscus was indeed torn which he told me would heal on its own it would just take time. I spoke with a friend about this and they said I really think you should get a second opinion.
Dr are amazing
Dr Motley fixed what seemed unfixable. He could have done another procedure which paid more but he realized he didn't have to when he went in to do the surgery so did the best for the patient.
I was in the Asheville Ortho office in total for an hour, including an MRI. They were consummate professionals at all times and did not act anything like the staff at Southeastern Sports Med.
Dr. Motley is a wonderful and caring doctor. There is not many physicians today that will talk to their patients, find out their concerns, and together make a treatment plan. My mother and I are both patients of this doctor. His reputation proceeds its self and if you are hesitant about letting this group provide you with care, don't be. You will find excellent care in the doctors and staff. It also do not hurt that he believes his gift in healing is from the ultimate healer.
I would not at all recommend Southeastern to anyone who wants to get the correct treatment in a timely fashion and feel well cared for.
Can't say enough about them and this place!
I'm in better shape than ever and not in constant pain. They don't give up
