I usually do not write reviews but had to make sure I let the world know that I found a little piece of home at virgola . I used to live near appalachacola which is known to have some of the best oysters in the world. Since I left Florida many years ago I have been unable to find anything other than subpar oysters . Virgola met and acceded expectations with each oyster (I ordered one of each). Each one had a delightful unique flavor and the owner was kind enough to explain the background of each one. The wine was paired well with the oysters. Owners were perfect hosts I would highly recommend stopping by on a weekend night when they have live music ambience leaves nothing to be desired .Also Monday's they have half priced bottles
Virgola Wine Bar is a gem! The wine selection is excellent and the charcuterie is delectable! The portions were quite generous. The staff is so lovely and attentive....this is our new favorite place!

The oysters were excellent. The wine was excellent! However the owner or manager at the bar was annoying! Not helpful, not welcoming did not enjoy him or his attitude at all!!

Great place to wind down! I've only had a glass of wine, but I will be sure to try their oysters when I return. I've heard nothing but great things about them.
