Great food and always some sort of drink specials going on. Dine in or dine out depending on the weather you can have a nice intimate dinner with a loved one or cackle your ass off at one of the larger tables inside our out. And there's even a private dining room that I think holds around 30. Pricing isn't cheap but also not crazy. It's reasonably priced for the quality of food you'll be receiving. And I've never had a server yet who wasn't awesome. It's a great place to dine before or after a movie which is just next door.
I would love to rate this place higher due to having amazing service in the past. But this last visit definitely lost my business. It was a disappointing conclusion to a date night with my wife. We arrived and was seated immediately they were not really busy so it was perfect timing. We were seated right in front of the bar where it seems half their staff spend most of their time. Me being how i am. Time is very important so i pay close attention to my watch everytime i go to a resturant. It took 10 minutes just to ask us what we would like to drink. The guy serving us told us he was sorry. And didnt even see us or notice we were sitting there. I was very understanding that mistakes happen so i let it go. After getting our drinks. A couple of seconds pass and he took our order and said. "Ill have your bread out in a sec". 30 minutes pass......our food arrives. A lady brings us our food and asks. Anything i can get you?.....and my wife says. "....yeah.....the bread" so we got our appetizers. After the main course which ruined all expectation. We started to eat and i realized something was off. The chicken was slightly under cooked.....and the noodles were pure mush. Over cooked to hell with no flavor what so ever!. I am highly shocked in this experience because i have had wonderful service in the past. The guy that served us was to focused on his friends at the bar. And serving the crowed of blonde girls 2 tables down from us. He didnt even check on us once so i could give this feedback. So we asked for the bill. Threw cash down. And left immediately. I guess we will have to search for another regular place to eat now. Disappointment.
Have always had wonderful food, Excellent service, and a delightful time at Travinia, Went here for dinner on our honeymoon, and they went above and beyond to make it a very memorable night. We have been back numerous times, and it is always a pleasure to be there.
I loved it. I'm not a foodie, so I'm not terribly picky, but the swordfish was the best I've ever had. Considering I asked for it without any spices, that's pretty impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience as well. The prices and ambiance is better at lunch, so I'm glad I went then.
Overall good but not blown away. The plus was my steak was cook perfect at medium rare.
