AMAZING COCKTAILS! We went here for cocktail hour before our dinner down the street and loved the unique drinks that were offered. Our bartender was spectacular and made terrific recommendations. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to enjoy something outside of Asheville's beer scene.
Social Lounge redeeemed itself this past week. Several months ago my husband and I came here for dinner and didn't get any service or acknowledgement for about 5 minutes; we ended up walking out. The other night we met a friend here for drinks because he wanted to go here. We sat at the bar. The bartenders definitely made it up to us! The drinks were delicious and creatively made. We told them about our horrible past experience and they sincerely apologised and made every effort possible to make our time there worth it. Because of them I will rate this place 5 stars and will consider trying dinner here because it's supposed to be good.
I visited Asheville mid-September to get away from Charlotte. My experience at Social Lounge was great. Bartender Trey Simmons was exceptional and crafted some wonderful cocktails. Highly recommend visiting here.
My husband and I had reservations at strada italiano (next door), but we arrived early. We came to the social lounge to have a couple of cocktails. Trey suggested we stay and eat dinner "with him". We ended up staying and enjoying the quaintness of the upstairs bar. We enjoyed our meal and Trey's company. He truly is a gem!
Came here on a Sunday night. Trey was our bartender and was very lovely. We wanted to go to the rooftop and he mentioned we could grab our drinks and take them upstairs if we liked. Ended up staying at the bar to watch the game. Nice mood lighting and comfortable bar chairs!
