I have NEVER in my life been treated the way I just was at Patton Avenue Pet Company. I use to love shopping there and always paid more to keep my business local. Usually double the price. I purchased a defective harness for my puppy, exchanged it no problem for a New one. A few weeks later it rips in the exact same place! This is not a place a dog could even physically chew it. It's under her neck on her chest. I went to the Patton ave location and the girl agreed it was ripped, not chewed. But said the owner wouldn't let them exchange it. I'm not even asking for a refund, just a harness my dog can use. I asked to speak to her (on the phone) she wouldnt even let me get a word in. I asked her repeatedly to please let me speak my concern. Nope wouldn't happen! So I drove to the downtown location and was told she wouldn't be back today but they would call and see when she will be back. They "said" she didn't answer her phone. I said I'd wait until she called back to let them know when she will be in next. Well apparently they lied because she came back after they saw I wasn't leaving. I once again showed her the defective harness (the SECOND one) and she told me I was a liar and that I could go shop on chewy and that she wasn't giving me my money back or a new harness (which was all I wanted). She even asked why I came down there, that she wasn't helping me. She literally RIPPED the package out of my hand to show me the phone number to the company. I have never in my life seen such an unprofessional "business" owner. I use the term business very loosely. Me and my mom spend hundreds of dollars in her store a month and apparently $40 isn't worth keeping not one but two customers happy. When I told her that she responded with "I have lots of good customers"

Had she been nice to me and let me express my concerns I would've bought a new harness from her store and continued to shop there. But I refuse to be treated the way I was by anyone. And to top it off I was mocked on my way out by one of their male employees. If you sell a defective product, own up to it, admit a mistake and offer to fix it. Isn't that like business 101? I would highly suggest shopping elsewhere in case you have an issue.
