I think this was the cheapest place to park in town - we walked around for a few hours and had lunch and it was only $5.
This parking garage is very cramped they trap you in and there is very little room to get out. They don't charge for the first hour and now I know why, you can't find parking large enough and it takes that long to get back out.
Very small and packed parking lot. Especially during weekend, it’s not the best place to park.
Sat in line to get out for over an hour after a smallish event at Diana Wortham theater. Apparently it takes 3 minutes for each car to check out? I've lived in Asheville 30 years, parked here many times, but never again. I may have to walk 15 blocks but it beats LA rush hour gridlock, burning gas and breathing exhaust fumes.
You get the first hour free, $1.25 per hour after the first free hour is a great rate for a parking garage. Its in a great location and I believe they have public restrooms available in the garage during the daytime only. I don't like the dead end if you make the first two lefts in the garage though... There should be signs that better assist parking areas. Otherwise would have given 5 stars
