Sloppy unprofessional and rude
Wouldn't even get a single star if it didn't require one to leave a review.... After the MONTHS of trouble I had getting in touch with someone over the phone or online...I finally had to go an hr&a half away to the office to fill out the same paper I had recently filled out several times already. Then they tell me to fill it out and bring it back to her ,mail it or drop it in the drop box. After waiting an extra 30mins for her,up until they closed,still hadn't got help even after talking to someone else who could have done the same thing....I dropped it in the box... Then I try the pointless calling over the course of the next day since I didn't get a question answered after waiting all that time....no answer all day. And apparently they didn't check their drop box all day either,because I call this morning &FINALLY get a person on the line.and she can't find it,asks if I put it in the drop box, and put me on hold. Comes back on the line with the info out of that same drop box, then has the audacity to lie and say they check it everyday and in turn accused me of lying about what day I had done it,(since it would take 3-4days for my disabled child to get her benefits again from the day it was turned in)&argueswith me even after I said "it's no big deal but I turned it Monday.not tuesday",...ok. The date beside my signature should proove the day it was filled out and turned in.Right? I couldn't have came and got it out of a locked box and held it all day while you guys "checked it everyday" and put it back in this morning, as you opened and still called 30mins after....lol. Seriously....they didn't check the box and were too proud to admit it so they call me a liar??? All over some papers that they "didn't get" in time.So they leave a sick child with nothing and then call their parents liars.....nice people. Those are the type of people we should put in charge of anything do with disabled citizens and children!! Wish I had asked her name,cause I would have def. Called management. After the stress of dealing with these people I really am about to be done with that office,&maybe even s.s. all together. Every one I have talked to over the last month or so have been sincere jerks! Please fire people like this! They don't deserve a job, that they look down on people at!
The men at social security in Asheville are rude.the ladies are polite and helpful.Thank You Ladies.
I feared the worst but the overall experience was good by any yardstick.
Arrived without an appointment to a fairly crowded waiting room. Total wait was less than an hour. The three employees I talked with were competent, informative, helpful and pleasant to deal with.
