I had assumed that Firehouse Casual Living would be a great shopping experience because the store is so nice and well layed out...and I also assumed that it was going to be on the expensive side...We were pleasantly surprised...
The only thing I can say about any negative reviews is that this is a family owned business and I have worked in retail in a family environment...If they were looking for someone to pounce on them when they walked through the door and try to sell them something...they were in the wrong place...very casual and enjoyable atmosphere...
The store was not busy and we were there 15 min before being asked if we needed help. They were not knowledgeable about their products and was not interested in helping. I will not be doing business here.
Great Experience! After carefully shopping online and locally for over 6 weeks for just the right set of Fire Logs to replace our old set...Marsha and I could not be more Pleased with the Selection, Value, Advice and Selection at Firehouse Casual Living Store...We shopped the big box stores & local gas/propane appliance stores...and scoured the internet reviews...
Our complaint is that after-sale customer satisfaction is not a concern to this store. Salesman was very knowledgeable about the products and how to choose the best one for the room space we had. He told us it would probably be several hundred dollars to install. Didn’t mention the $450 for the stove pipe. The person we were referred to for the installation came out assuming chimney pipe would go out the top of the stove rather than the back we had requested (a miscommunication he called it). His charge was $350 plus an additional $150 to return for the correct pipe. He feels his charge was justified, Firehouse Casual Living does not return phone calls and when we reach them can’t talk because they’re “with a customer right now.”

I have purchased multiple Vermont Castings wood stoves from Firehouse. As our house grew so did our heating needs and the first place I go to is Firehouse. Dick and Rick have been very helpful and knowledgeable and I have been using their products for over 15 years. I would highly recommend Firehouse Casual Living.
Bought an outdoor table and chairs. Contemporary style which had been hard to find. Great delivery and very nice folks. Going back for fireplace accessories.
At all levels the pricing on Gas Fire Logs were the most competitive we found...We are very pleased with the level of service and pricing was the best apples to apples after much research...we saved $200+ Dollars over comparable sets we looked at...
