The last time I inquired of the internal wait list, I was told it had been discontinued. Movement to an upstairs location was on a subjective basis. By that point, I had been waiting for three years. It was at this point that I cancelled my contract and vacated the space.
A nice lunch counter where you can get a real frappe made the old fashioned way.
I prefer to work with galleries that are honest with their artists.
One of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch. The original charming lunch counter n stools are still there. Want ice cream they still have the fountain. The prices are affordable. While you wait you can walk around and check out all the Artsy things they have. Your can find things like photographs paintings sculptors
I adore coming here for lunch when I'm working downtown. The food is good, consistent, and very quick. The lunch counter is perfect for either eating with a friend or solo, and the environment is great for walking around after. The only downside is the line can back up—especially in the summer when tour groups gravitate there for a quick bite.
The art display is very eclectic but doesn't change much over time
Great stop for local art. Would like to see more rotation in the artists though. We visit every year and selection is almost the same each time.
I am an artist that exhibited at WW. I waited 3 years to be offered a small space downstairs. I took it, and also expressed my desire to be moved upstairs when space became available. I was told there was a waiting list for that type of move, and to contact Erin. I did.
I displayed work downstairs and had moderate but consistent sales. I inquired about every 6 months about the waiting list. Sales are slower downstairs and shoplifting is higher. I inquired a couple of times about the use of the elevator. I was told it could be used, but was not insured for the public. I always wondered why not. There are two flights of stairs to go to the lower level. Obviously, many customers will not choose to shop downstairs because of the difficulty of the stairs.
All kinds of handmade items. There are two floors to check out.
