I've know Matt Tommey for a number of years. I can say that, without a doubt, that he's a talented basket maker artist extraordinaire. His expertise lies in his ability to create medium and large sized "art baskets" that look amazing in a variety of rustic decor settings. He's actually been making baskets for the past 22 years, but 8 years ago when he started making these exquisite basket sculptures things really began taking off. These days, Matt specializes in crafting fireplace mantle-piece sculptures that look stunning over any fireplace setting. Way to go Matt. Love his work!

Matt's work is a world away from what most people think of when they hear "handmade basket."
